Everything about our trek with Himalaya Guide Nepal was ideal. Even if the tour is already breathtaking, the nearly two weeks were made even better by the Himalaya Guide. This was made possible by flawless planning, but primarily by our guide, Kumar! Yes, he guided us over the 5106-meter-high pass without incident. Additionally, he took excellent care of us throughout the entire trip, always set up lovely accommodations for us, always served delicious food, and patiently answered all of our inquiries about the hike, the mountains, culture, religion, and environment. To put it another way, we learned a lot in addition to hiking. The nicest part is that, in spite of the effort, we laughed a lot and had a great time. Anyone who wants to see a distinct alpine environment and small, authentic communities without the crowds of Nepal's "big," well-known treks should definitely consider this journey, in our opinion. There is no better organization than Himalaya Guide Nepal if you choose to do so.

"Having hiked to MBC before, including Poon Hill, and having hiked in Ladakh as well, my cousin and I decided to hike the Manaslu circuit, just east of the Annapurna Circuit. Chandra Gurung organized the trip for us via email and after we flew across the world (Toronto and Vancouver, Canada), we effortlessly met up and were able to begin our trek right away. In fact, I was in the jeep heading to the trail-head within about 2 hours of my arrival, as my cousin got there before me. His prices were competitive and we were very happy with the service and organization aspect, not to mention Manaslu itself is absolutely gorgeous!! The guide, as well as the private jeep transport that Chandra provided were on time and the service was always great. Definitely recommend!"

Our experience with Himalaya guide was amazing! Our guide pratp was incredible and was such a king guy, the company took care of everything in the treks itself from the lodges to the meals and they always chose the best option for us and I would highly recommend them !

We had the most amazing trek with the Himalayan Guide Company! We completed the 14 day Manaslu trek in early October of this year and everything about the trip exceeded our expectations. Chandra (the owner), Dinesh (our guide) and Umish (our porter) took care of everything from pick up to drop off. Chandra was very quick to respond and helpful answering questions leading up to our trek. Dinesh was very knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond in taking care of us. Of all the guides we saw on the trek (with other groups on the circuit) Dinesh was the most attentive and helpful! We would highly recommend Himalayan Guide Nepal to any of our friends and family. Hope to be back someday to do more trekking with them!

Right from the start, we had an amazing experience with Himalaya Guide Nepal. Chandra was responsive and communicative, listened to what we wanted, and took care of all the logistics with meticulous care. But the real star of our trip was our guide Pratap Lama. Pratap watched over us for 17 days with an eagle eye. He learned our preferences and tastes, and made sure we were comfortable and happy. He procured the best accomodations for us, and was constantly on the look out for anything we might need or want. Even more importantly, Pratap exuded cheerfulness and good spirits at every turn. He never passed up an opportunity to dance, laugh, celebrate, or enjoy our amazing time on trail. His enjoyment was infectious, and infused the entire trip with joy and wonder. The guide makes the trip, and Pratap made ours. You couldn't do better! Tea houses were welcoming and comfortable, scenery was spectacular, trail was very manageable and safe. Highly recommended.
