The academic System in Nepal has been rising and improving continuously. Due to the development of education and the educational system.
The scarcity, as well as the community, is improving day by day. Because of the damages of the administration management Nepal's government tries to make the superior proposition for education to make better. Before starting the modern education system in Nepal. Schooling was restricted and only elite classes were privileged.
While the rest of the people stayed mainly illiterate and untaught. When the new era was introduced. Education was offered only to sons of the upper classes people and girls infrequently received the proper education.
Academic System in Nepal at present, regardless of establishing an educational structure in Nepal. The government offered a community school in which students receive regular government grants. There is also the presence of a school manager.
Who are enthusiastic about having school in their vicinities. However, they do not accept any grants from the government regularly. People are helping one another to support and manage so that their schools will be identified as real community schools.
The education scheme is based on the outline of the United States. The country served as a guide in forming the education curriculum in Nepal. Grades 1 to 5 are considered primary education. Their main target is teaching children to read, write, and do arithmetic.
Grades 6-8 are called secondary education. Its main target is the development of stress personality and trains the students for higher study. Grade 9 & 10 is called upper secondary and it serves a student as a stepping stone to the higher secondary level. Classes 11 & 12 are both called higher secondary.
The Ministry of Education is in charge of management and the direction of school-rank education in the country. Department of Education was formed recently. Its operation began in 2000 with the significant function of giving fair access to education and creating excellence. Which is internal and external effectiveness improvement and making growth-pleasant venture education.
Due to the development of education in broadening forms improvement in all aspects of education. And for the encouragement of knowledge and performance, people are hoping and looking forward ahead.
