Upper Mustang Tea House Trek 2016, Chandra organized this 10 day Upper Mustang trek for myself and my wife in Nov 2016 providing a guide and porter, etc. We found him and his staff very friendly and efficient. And have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone coming to Nepal. The scenery in the Upper Mustang is fantastic and unlike any other trek in Nepal. The downside is that 80% of the trek is on the new road. Though it is not busy. It can be a bit of a pain having the dust in your face by passing jeeps and bikes. So, unless you really want to do Mustang I would suggest asking Chandra to organize a different trek in Nepal (there are many) for you. I'm sure you'll have a great time with him.

I chose this company partly because Chandra answered my emails properly and quickly when two others did not, and partly on price. What i did not know until i got there was that Dinesh is from Upper Mustang himself. That changed the whole trek. He knew families in Ghami and Charang, got us into the monastery at Charang for morning prayers, and explained the difference between the Bon sites and the Buddhist ones as we passed them. You can walk this route with anybody. Walking it with someone from there is not the same trip.

Upper Mustang Trek Review, It's easy to find them on the internet and they respond to emails fast. The guide is good at navigating on the treks and in the villages. They are friendly, hard-working, and good at accommodating changes (when one of us gets sick). I wish they could talk more about the culture and history of this wonderful Tibetan kingdom. And does not confuse between pre-historic dwellings and rabbit caves. I highly recommended this company if you are looking for a trip to Nepal. We had a great experience during the trekking. So, If you are looking for trekking in Nepal then do not forget to visit Upper Mustang Trek because it is different than other treks in Nepal.
