A 14-day tour in Nepal lets you visit five historical places: Kathmandu, Lumbini, Palpa (Tansen), Chitwan, and Pokhara in one trip. Most 14-day Nepal tours rush you between Kathmandu and Pokhara, leaving you with a surface-level experience of the country. But our designed 14-day tour in Nepal doesn’t rush you and gives you enough time to explore the city. You will spend 3 nights in Kathmandu, 3 nights in Lumbini, 3 nights in Palpa, 3 nights in Chitwan, and 2 nights in Pokhara.
Most people don’t realize that Kathmandu Valley is made up of three ancient cities. With three nights here, you have enough time to explore the main heritage sites without rushing. In the same way, Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, also deserves more time than most tours give it. Many itineraries stop only for a few hours, but staying three days lets you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. You can roam around the monastic zone, see temples built by different countries, visit the ancient palace at Tilaurakot where Buddha lived as a prince, and watch rare birds at the Crane Sanctuary.
Next comes Palpa Tansen (3 nights), a hidden gem that most tours skip. This hill town feels very different from busy places like Pokhara. You can walk through old cobblestone streets, try fresh local coffee, and watch weavers making traditional Dhaka cloth. We also take a short hike to Srinagar Hill for a wide Himalayan view and visit the beautiful Ranighat Palace beside the river.
Furthermore, with three nights in Chitwan, you can explore the place more deeply. You can go on a full-day jeep safari at Chitwan National Park to look for wildlife like deer, rhinos, and sometimes even tigers, or take a quiet canoe ride to see rare crocodiles along the river. In the evening, you can enjoy traditional Tharu cultural dances. When you reach Pokhara, the trip becomes slower and more relaxing. You can take a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, enjoy the lakeside cafes, and wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Himalayas from Sarangkot.
Nonetheless, this journey is not only about visiting places, but about feeling how Nepal changes as you travel. You move from the ancient temples of Kathmandu to the peaceful birthplace of Buddha, then to the jungles of Chitwan, the quiet hills of Palpa, and finally the lakes and mountains of Pokhara. We travel by private vehicle, driving through some of the most beautiful mountain roads in Nepal. This trip is perfect for photographers, history lovers, and spiritual travelers who want to experience the real soul of Nepal without being in a hurry. Besides this tour, we also organize Trekking, Climbing, and Adventure Activities, as well as tours in Bhutan and Tibet.
