Base Camp Trek with Female Guide

I did an Annapurna base camp with a female trekking guide in Nepal. I did 11 days of ABC Trek. My female guide was Sima and Porter Prabin. They two are very kind and experienced female guides in the Annapurna base camp.

Best ABC Trek

When I was looking holiday in Nepal. Then I found Himalaya Guide Nepal on Google. After that, I contact this company. They responded very nicely and quickly. I request provide a female guide and porter for the Annapurna base camp trek. This company provides us with female license holders female guides Sima and Porter Prabin Gurung.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek – 12 Days

Best Annapurna base camp trek for my lifetime. It was my first time in Nepal and I chose Himalaya Guide Nepal local trekking company in Thamel Nepal.

Our guide was Krishna Gurung, we found him very honest and caring for our whole trip. So, we enjoyed the whole trek starting from Nayapul to ABC 4130m. We saw an awesome mountain view from poon hill 3210m and Annapurna base camp.

I highly recommended Himalaya Guide Nepal for any trips to Himalayas Nepal. I am really sure that when I go back to Nepal. Will contact this company.

Excellent initial trekking experience in Nepal – September 2022

Island Peak Climbing 2022

My friend and I plan to climb the island peak of Mt. Everest region Nepal. And we google searched then we found Himalaya Guide Nepal, the Nepal base local trekking company. We started to talk with the Manager of HGN name Chandra Gurung. We found his response very honest and quick reply as our questions.

So, we chose this company and start a trip to island peak. The team of Himalaya Guide Nepal is very professional and honest. We went to the island peak base camp but due to weather conditions, we could not summit the peak. But we are sure one day we will back to Nepal and do this peak through Himalaya Guide Nepal and Chandra Gurung. Thanks to all management.

Nar Phu Trek with Himalaya Guide Nepal

I have trekked 14 days Nar Phu Trek in Nepal. When I was looking trip to Nepal at that time, I contact Chandra Gurung. He responded very quickly and proper information about Nar Phu Trekking. So, I contact him for this trek for my holiday in the Himalayas Nepal.

Our guide was Pratap Tamang and porter was mangal gurung. They both were very helpful and well know about Nar Phu valley and porter is from this valley. I enjoyed this trip with the company crew so I highly recommended this company.

Excellent Nar Phu Trek

My boyfriend and I were willing to visit Nepal for a quite long time. Finally, we search on google and found Himalaya Guide Nepal local and Nepal-based trekking company.
We contact this local company trip organizer Chandra Gurung. He provides us with all information about Nar Phu Trek. And very quick responses and very easy to communicate with him. So, we chose this company. During the trek, our guide Pratap Tamang and porter Mangal Gurung are very informative and strong helpers for our whole trek and we enjoy a lot our trip.

Amazing Annapurna Trek

Amazing Annapurna Trek. The trek was great with amazing scenery. Chandra (Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt. Ltd.) is very good at responding to emails. So, you can organize almost everything on the internet, including trekking permits.

He is also very available by telephone via the guide; this was good for me as I could vary the itinerary at short notice. They tend to use the same places (lodges and cafes) on the route to keep a reasonable level of quality. Because the sleeping bag was of top quality which is important for cold nights. And everyone in this small, family company is a smiling family. Because of the amazing Annapurna Trek. The trek was great with amazing scenery. Chandra (Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt. Ltd.) is very good at responding to emails so you can organize almost everything on the internet, including trekking permits.

Annapurna Circuit Trek – 2022

Thank You Himalaya Guide Nepal for an Epic AMAZING Adventure♥️ My daughter Hillary and I booked the Annapurna Trek a couple of years ago but due to the Covid pandemic, we were not able to go. I kept in touch with owner Chandra via emails and WhatsApp and had no issues with finally being able to complete the trek in October 2022! Communication with Chandra was always easy. He answered my many questions and arranged the perfect trek for us. It was great to finally meet Chandra in person at his office in Thamel, Nepal! I requested Salman as our guide because some other folks in Colorado had recommended him. Chandra honored the request and Salman was great! He was so kind and knowledgeable…and happy! You could tell he loves what he does. We ran into unexpected snow over Thorong La Pass and Salman gave me his crampons to use!! Our porter was Prabin and he was the best!! He and Salman were friends and were always talking and laughing. We couldn’t have asked for a better team. Thank you so much for an adventure we will never forget! Heather

Great Trek Experience with Himalaya Guide, Chandra is an expert trek operator. But he’s highly knowledgeable about the landscape and cultures of Nepal, and I learned a lot from him. So, it was also informative in talking with him about current events and politics in Nepal. I would recommend Chandra to anyone who is planning a trek in Nepal. 12 Days Everest Base Camp Trek

12 Days Everest Base Camp Trek, Chandra was my personal guide during the 12-day Everest Base Camp Trek in December 2008. I have done many customized tours around the world (Andes, Himalaya). But this is definitely one of the best I have ever experienced. The views and sunsets are awesome. Chandra did an awesome job of listening to my needs and organizing the ideal trip for me.

A very helpful intelligent and kind guide and good company as well! Goes out of his way to assist you in which way he can. I managed to sort out a new camera for myself during (!) the Mount Everest Base Camp trek as mine had broken down. Adventure of a lifetime!

Manaslu Circuit Trek – 13 Days

Manaslu Circuit Trek – 13 Days. We have done the Manaslu circuit trek in 13 days. Because it has been wonderful. Our guide Denesh has been incredible, very helpful, and a very nice person. The porters are also very nice people and hard work for them.

First time in Nepal

The first time in Nepal, My son convinced me to come and see a part of the world. I’d never traveled before, and sooner than later I was in the chaotic city of Kathmandu.

Chandra put together a great itinerary for us. I feel that for the first time, I had a good dose of Kathmandu and its surrounds, as well as Chitwan National Park and Pokhara. Dinesh and Ramesh, as well as the other tour guides, were great choices.

I would love to return in a fitter shape (54-year-old male) in order to hit the road for a trek or two. I highly recommend Chandra and his Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt. Ltd. team.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek, October 16 to 02. November 2017 Chandra (Himalaya Guide Nepal Pvt.Ltd.) has organized us Manaslu Circuit and the Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek including Guide and porter. Because everything worked smoothly. Chandra already arrived at the airport to pick me up in Kathmandu. In the evening there was a Nepalese “Welcome Dinner” with Chandra in the traditional dances that were presented. So, we found this very great! In our hotel, a preliminary took place, in which we again Chandra told all the necessary information for our trek. And our guide presented to us. All transfers by taxi, bus, and jeep were organized by Chandra and functioned smoothly.

During the Manaslu Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, our guide and our porter took care of everything. They were very friendly and competent. The accommodations are always booked by our guide in advance. So, we could always equal the day’s destination in our “room”. There were in addition to three meals snacks, such as cookies or candy bars every night fresh fruit. We really enjoyed the trek and it was a fantastic experience. For us, the Manaslu Trek was the right choice. Because we were able to experience one of the least touristy developed areas with Tibetan influence. We highly recommend Chandra and his team; they do a very good job!

Awesome Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Short Trek

Nagarkot to Dhulikhel Short Trek, Having been to Nepal twice over the past few years. And spent time with Chandra on both occasions, I would highly recommend him as a guide and a friend. He is a lovely bloke. Who makes sure his clients are well catered for in every sense. We had a really nice short trek with Chandra in the Kathmandu Valley, walking for a few days from Nagarkot to Dhulikhel hike. He was always willing to share stories and experiences from his past as well as his views on Nepal and the wider world.

Once back in Kathmandu he was available to give us advice about what to do and where to go. As well as taking us to a restaurant for a Nepali meal! If I ever (fingers crossed) make it back to Nepal, I would definitely get in touch with him again. Thanks for all your help mate, stay in touch.
